Convert PNG to PES embroidery files

Have a PNG logo? Upload it, map thread colors, preview the stitches, and download a Brother-ready PES file. DST is included in the same ZIP.

Who this is for

You have a PNG logo, icon, or simple graphic and you want a PES file for a Brother or similar home machine. Maybe you exported from Canva, pulled a screenshot, or saved a flat-color design as PNG.

StitchConvert traces the PNG, lets you map thread colors, and shows a stitch preview before you pay. The download ZIP includes PES and DST together. You do not pick a format at checkout.

Steps

Use a PNG with solid colors and a transparent or plain background. Photos and gradients usually trace poorly.

Upload at /convert, pick your hoop size, and match each detected color to the thread you plan to use.

Check the preview: size, stitch count, readable text, no tiny speckles. Pay once if it looks right, then download the ZIP.

PNG prep that actually matters

800 px on the longest side is enough for simple art. Bigger does not fix blurry or gradient-heavy source files.

Fewer colors means fewer thread changes. Flatten drop shadows and effects in your design app before export.

White box around your art? Make the background transparent so it does not get stitched.

Open PES or DST?

Open PES in Brother software when you want thread colors on screen. Use the DST from the same ZIP if your machine or shop prefers universal stitch data.

Need DST specifically? See /png-to-dst for when that file is the one you load at the machine.
